I've been trying to make my invitation debut photos more interesting (must. move. away. from. my. desk). So I took a big step and moved my photoshoot session down to the dining table. My backyard also has a lemon tree that is in need of some picking and pruning. I told Kathy that the tree is her's for her wedding if she needed any citrusy touches to her wedding decorations.
This week has been a bit crazy for Kathy's bridesmaids with the dress vendor making a huge mistake on our dresses, and us frantically searching for new ones. We ended up buying dresses from Ann Taylor that JUST went on sale from $185 to $130. Yay! They're cheaper than the first dresses, and dare I say, PRETTIER.
With the vineyard wedding less than a month away, here are the invitations!
This weather is proving that summer is definitely near! I was sweating taking these pictures. I think out of all the invitations I've made so far, I'm most pleased with this set. Kathy gave me all the reins for this one, so I had a lot of control. Plus I only spent a few hours designing, and afterwards, barely any revisions! Don't get me wrong, it's great when the bride and groom make suggestions and revision requests. I definitely learn from them as well. But... a break is great now and then, no?
