When Jen and Andrew first approached me about wanting their wedding design to revolve around "travel," I had conflicting feelings because although the theme of travel is exciting, romantic, nostalgic, and vintage all wrapped up into one, I had already worked on a
wedding that also had a travel theme.
So during my orientation week, I had to really blend those creative juices to find another twist on "travel." I finally reached my light bulb moment and decided to focus more on the
transportation of travel and the
motion from place to place for recreation rather than on the
communication that comes with individual travel and the "distance makes the heart grow fonder" sentimentalism. Does that make sense? Sounds like I've been drinking too much theoretical nonsense at grad school.
Jen and Andrew's wedding theme will celebrate their journeys of exploring the world TOGETHER and the adventures that they've had from their previous travels together as well as their future adventures together as a married couple (they're starting off in Washington DC!).
Official invitation post to come at the end of the month.
