JENDREW: INVITES

I really tried to resist posting these until after I was done with my final projects. I tried and here I am failing.

Similar to the Save the Date, Jen and Andrew's invitation decided to take the form of another type of ticket. Jen had the lovely idea of her wedding invitation being an airplane ticket in a ticket sleeve. I've seen many attempts of this on Weddingbee with the airplane ticket designs. Personally, I think airplane tickets are ugly. I mean, ever since Southwest came into my life, I don't even use tickets anymore--half sheets of paper that I print from home the day before suffice. So for the Jendrew invitation, I threw in some of the prettier elements that make up a plane ticket, but was very lax with the literal transposition.

Guests were greeted with shimmery shamrock sleeves with a custom couple Visa stamp.

Here is my favorite element of the entire Jendrew design--a custom monogram stamp. I love that it is humongous.

The ticket was sectioned into three portions--RSVP, the main body, and a map. Please visit the website! I collaborated with the same guy who did BB's website and it is fabulous!

"Luggage claim tags" served as inserts with reception information.

Bon voyage! See you in LA!

{ABOUT}

JANET CHANG

I'm obsessed with the customization of anything and everything because I believe a one-of-a-kind item reveals the self and transforms ownership into something special. For now, graphic design is only a hobby of mine that I picked up from architecture school, but some days I tickle the thought of making it into a part-time career.
